I'm a married mother of two. I've been extremely blessed to have found the love of my life when we were both just 15. We have two amazing children together. I've been a homemaker since my son was born. I love the job of being wife and mother. I have felt for years that it's what I was meant to do.
Two years ago my husband's job brought a move for us from our home in Nova Scotia to Okotoks, Alberta. The move has brought with it the blessing of some amazing friends that have introduced me to some new ways of caring for my family thru home storage and emergency preparedness. This is something I've struggled with for years, but, was always looking for an answer to. After living through some tough financial and major storms in our married life I've looked for ways for our family to be ready for the unknown.
Two years ago after my Husbands work went bankrupt, I found couponing. It was a great way to help stock our home with food for great prices. But, I hated the fact that we didn't have fruits and vegetables that were fresh. And the products had lots of sugars and preservatives. Then in the summer I started a garden and home canning. I felt I was getting closer to what I was looking for. In the fall a very special friend of mine invited me to join her and her church to the church cannery. I learned to can wheat, onions, sugar, powdered milk, etc. As we're leaving I couldn't help but wish they had more everyday foods.
When I saw Thrive on the Costco website it was an aha moment for me. I knew it was what I was looking for. I knew this would be a life changer for my family and friends and that I could help the people I care about by showing them how to help themselves. To save money, time and eat healthy. It was everything I've been trying to do on my own.
I'm so excited to share this product with everyone. I know you will be excited as well.
